AN URGENT APPEAL TO ALL THE CONCERNED
MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH
ABOUT HER CURRENT CRISIS AND MISSION
"Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I
will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
(Matthew 16:18)
"The one mediator, Christ,
established and ever sustains here on earth his holy Church, the
community of faith, hope, and charity, as a visible organization through
which he communicates truth and grace to all men". (Roman
Catechism I, 10, 20)
The Church that Our Lord Himself established on earth two
thousand years ago is not merely a congregation and society of believers
but is truly the Mystical Body of Christ, alive and breathing with the
Holy Spirit and bearing fruits by sanctifying its members through washing
away their sins and infusing the divine grace into their souls and thus
enabling them to live forever in the Kingdom of God as His people and
children. This Church will never succumb to the power of the devil as
Jesus promised but will succeed in defeating him and realizing the
universal reigning of Our Lord in the world with the assistance of the
Blessed Mother.
During the long process of reaching that happy stage,
however, the devil and his forces will not slow down their ferocious
attempts to harm the Church and her members. In fact, the opposition and
persecution of Jesus and His disciples started at the very beginning of
the Church and have ever been intensifying until now, which is the end
time when the battle will finally be concluded.
Especially since the 1960s when the Second Vatican Council
was held, the liberal theologians and their followers have
enthusiastically distorted the true meanings of the Council teachings and
succeeded in causing great confusions and disorders in the Church. As a
result, (1) the strict guarding of the revealed truths (= the true,
traditional teachings of the Church) and rejection of the errors
(heresies) have become compromised and weakened, as if the revealed truths
were not important any longer and the theological and moral errors were
not dangerous any longer; (2) based on the distortions, dilutions, and
ignorance of the revealed truths, the key devotions in the Church such as
the Eucharistic Devotion and the Marian Devotion have become de-emphasized
and even despised; (3) "sins" are no longer perceived as the only
obstacles to our obtaining eternal salvation, making the practices of
making Confession and penance gradually fade out of the Catholic life; (4)
as the teachings of God the Son's Incarnation and His Resurrection are no
longer clearly taught, the Divinity of Jesus and everything supernatural
in the Church have become blurred and forgotten; thus, the importance of
miracles is no longer taught or recognized; and (5) the value and
discipline concerning the vocations of priesthood, religious life, and
devoted lay life have been reduced.
In Naju, Korea, Our Lord and Our Lady have been giving us
many messages and countless miracles to alert us to the crisis in the
Church and to restore the true faith and moral discipline in the Catholic
life. So far, the opposing modernist and liberal priests in Korea have
been very successful in delaying the official Church approval of Naju by
spreading vicious false rumors about Naju and threatening the pilgrims. As
they always despise miracles, they have refused to conduct scientific
examinations of any of the physical evidence of the thousands of miracles
in Naju so far including the thirty-three Eucharistic Miracles. The true
miracles are God's own testimonies for the sake of our salvation. Jesus
warned those who despised His miracles and refused to do penance: "If
the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Sodom, it would have
remained until this day. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the
land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you." (Matthew 11:
23-24) Mary's Touch By Mail is only a small, poor family spreading the
information about Naju since 1991. Only with the participation by many
individuals and families in this mission, we can reach millions more
people in the world.
