An exceptionally bright rainbow that appeared in the sky of Portland, Oregon, on July 29, 1991, two days before the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe arrived here.

Genesis 3:15   The Lord God said to the serpent: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed: she shall crush your head, and you shall lie in wait for her heel.”

OUR LADY IN 1531 AD

On December 9, 1531 A.D., God sent Our Lady to the earth to begin to vanquish the serpent (Satan), first in the area of the former Aztec Empire. Three days later (December 12), Our Lady made her own Image with flowers and the tilma of Juan Diego and left this miraculous Image in the Bishop’s office. Since then, her Image was respected and loved by the people in that area as they saw this Image and understood it to be the Mother of the true God. The people had been worshipping the idols and performing human sacrifices since many years earlier, but now they ended the old customs and, instead, converted to the Catholic Church.  In 10 years, about 10 million people received baptism. Thus, Our Lady won a great success against the Serpent. This, however, was a success in a relative small area and the head of the Satan was not crushed yet.  Now, the worldwide mission is before Our Lady. The children (adult men and women also are often called children before Our Lord and Our Lady) in the world are countlessly many and the difficulties are enormous. Even so, Our Lady will surely win over Satan. How fast may depend on our help.

*I must be free to move about among my children so they may see me, their Mother.

 

*I will melt your hearts with my motherly heart filled with love for you.

 

*Through the miracle of my image, I want to come among you and convert millions of your hearts to my Divine Son Jesus.

 

*As Queen and Mother of all the Americas, my concern for my poor wounded children grows greater in my Immaculate Heart every day. I want to reach them through my image.

2. To melt the children’s hearts, Our Lady needs to see children, but there are countless of them and she can meet only a few of them. The few children could go to the Basilica in Mexico to see the Image of Our Lady, but it is not an easy way for most persons in the world.

Our Lady had a way to solve this problem. It was August 15, 1991, Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was in the chapel of inside of Grotto (The National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother) a person took a photograph of Our Lady of Guadalupe. He only wanted to have a photo of Our Lady in his house and nothing more. Later, however, unexpected small images were found in his photo. They were: the Holy Spirit, the Holy Eucharist, Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart, Light, Our Lady’ veil vanished (because she is the Queen), and unborn babies.  

Our Lady’s new Image is actually the continuation of the original in the Basilica. One difference is that the original Image is only one in the world, but the new Image can be made more numerous with no differences from the first new Image. Now, Our Lady can always meet and protect millions of children and the children can always be with Our Lady, their Mother and Queen. This will be the best success and victory for Our Lady and the children as God has willed.
