The Sixth Station: Let
us meditate on St. Veronica wiping the face of Jesus with her veil.
The Lord saved the whole world through the Cross.
◘ Jesus Christ, we adore You and praise You.
The Lord of Love Who carried the Cross to the end for
the conversion of sinners despite the blood and sweat, that were flowing
down continuously and were covering His eyes!
○ All of us have been called to wipe away the Lord's
blood and sweat and the Blessed Mother's tears of blood, but instead we
have been giving joy to the devil by hating and not forgiving each other,
filled with jealousy, envy, anger, and rage. How much grief has this been
causing to the Lord and the Blessed Mother!
● Soldiers were whipping, kicking, and spitting at
Jesus, and the crowd was throwing rocks at Him, but St. Veronica elbowed
her way through them, with no concern of face-saving or others' eyes, and
wiped away the blood and sweat from the face of Jesus and the blood from
the wounds caused by the crown of thorns coagulated on Jesus' eyes and
blocking His view. Help us always remain awake so that we may become the
apostles of the Lord's Sacred Heart and the Blessed Mother's Immaculate
Heart who console Them like St. Veronica, not thinking about face-saving
or others' eyes but bravely displaying the power of love and offering up
loyalty heroically. (Meditate for a while.)
○ "If you know that I am shedding Blood and sweat
and bloody tears for you even at this moment, wipe away My Blood and sweat
with your life. This is the life of conversion" (The Lord's message
on May 27, 1992).
◘ Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary,
Glory be.
◘ Mother, we ask you to engrave the Lord's Wounds
deeply into our hearts.
